Digital events

On March 12th 2020 in-person meetings and events were put on hold due to the covid-19 restrictions. In order to keep in touch with journalists and influencers, we were the first agency in Belgium to set up an intimate ‘Skyperitivo’, a digital get-together for South Tyrol!

We sent a South Tyrolean aperitivo box to 15 print media and 15 influencers. Included with the mailing was an invite to join a skype call. During this call, we had a nice chat, shared information about South Tyrol and made plans for the future. During the first lockdown in 2020  this was a creative approach and a well-received event. Definitely worth repeating, as the restrictions continue we have set up breakfast e-meetings, Italian cooking chats and informal coffee dates.

Results of the ‘Skyperitivo’: 26 social media clippings with a value of 41.000 and a reach of 1.400.000 contacts.

On November 17th 2020 Glenaki organised a virtual travel workshop about Malta. Maltese partners got to meet Belgian tour operators, travel agents, MICE planners, group planners… via a virtual workshop on Zoom.

We started off with a general information session, followed by individual one-on-one meetings. The participants were able to choose who they wanted to talk to and received a personal schedule filled with their requested meetings.

Due to the high demand, we even had to schedule some meetings the following days to make sure everyone was able to have meetings they requested.

In total, we had over 112 participants and 18 Maltese partners. We set up more than 330 one-to-one meetings.
